It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a great man, Bill Posey. Dubbed “Most Responsive Legislator” many years ago is part of the reason he was considered a true public servant. There was always a live person answering his phones - even during COVID. He fought for parents and families affected by vaccine related injuries, was a pro-life and pro-2nd amendment champion, also fighting for “stand-alone legislation” (without pork and add-ons) and gave back his annual congressional pay raise to his constituents. He kept stacks of bureaucratic red tape that took up large portions of his office until he had to remove them because they were a “fire hazard.” He gave “conservative champion” awards to several of us including Carol Jean Jordan, Dale Glading myself and Sandra Rivera. After sign waving events, Bill and Katie always invited us to join them for lunch. He and Katie went everywhere together. Katie was a member of a capital wives prayer team. They always put family values and love of family first. They recently became great grandparents to Pam’s twin grandchildren. Bill and Katie have done more to preserve our constitutional rights and for our community than we will ever know.

Godspeed Congressman Posey. You are truly one of the greats! May God bless and comfort Katie and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
